No matter where they go, it seems that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are stirring up a little controversy. As New York Fashion Week comes to a close, organizers have erected a new rule that bans children at fashion shows. This news surfaces after daughter North’s temper tantrums during the events.

North was first witnessed crying at daddy’s unveiling of his Adidas clothing line on Feb. 12, and she was captured on Saturday (Feb. 14) at Alexander Wang’s show in a fit of tears.

This prompted organizers, according to VH1, to create the “North West Rule” (that's probably not the official name), which bans children from fashion events. In Nori’s defense, photographer Kevin Tachman seems to be the one to blame for the outburst at the Alexander Wang show. Apparently, the child was fixated with his Monkey Shutter Hugger toy, which he uses when he photographs fashion shows.

“I took the front row pics and all was fine but ended up shooting the show right across from them (Kim, North, Kanye). So of course she wanted the toy,” he told Us Weekly.

Tachman removed the toy off his camera so North wouldn't be distracted, and then presented her with it backstage. "Kim was sweet and gracious when I gave her the monkey and made sure to get it back to me before she left," he said.

Nevertheless, this “North West Rule” sounds sensible to us. As VH1 points out, fashion shows are boring and loud. We don’t think babies are interested in the latest fashion wares from designers, so they should stay at home with a babysitter.
