Is Alicia Keys New R&B Or Classic R&B?

I get a lot of requests for Alicia Keys' Music, and it seems that pretty much all of her stuff is great.  The question is....is she new R&B or Classic R&B?  Some say she should be classified as classic because everything she does is timeless.  What do you think ...hit me up on facebook...kssm killeen.
