James Gandolfini, a versatile actor who played mob boss Tony Soprano in the HBO series 'The Sopranos,' passed away Wednesday (June 19) at the age of 51. The news shocked fans as well as artists in the hip-hop community.

According to E! News, Gandolfini suffered a heart attack in his hotel room in Rome, Italy. The actor's 13-year-old son, Michael, witnessed his father collapse in the bathroom and called for help around 10PM.
