This award isn't for Jennifer by the way.

Earlier in the day, President-Elect Donald Trump's team announced the entertainment lineup for his inauguration for which he has had problems finding willing participants (I wonder why?). The lineup that was released included rock group "3 Doors Down", country singer Toby Keith and one surprising name, singer and Broadway star Jennifer Holliday most famous for her role as "Effie" in "DreamGirls".

One problem though, Holliday's publicist announced merely MINUTES after the press release that Holliday was indeed asked but did not AGREE to perform at the inauguration according to "The Wrap".

And things are only getting more desperate for the Trump team as now word is out that they are willing to pay rapper Flo-Rida a MILLION DOLLARS to perform a 10 minute set at the Inauguration. Damn, for a QUARTER OF THAT, I'll come up there and give you 30 minutes of me singing a medley of R. Kelly hits (some of you will get that joke).

After years of belittling celebrities through his Twitter account, the President Elect now finds himself reaping what he has sown all these years. According to The Daily Beast, Here's a running list of performers who so far have DECLINED performing at the inauguration:

  • Elton John
  • Justin Timberlake
  • Bruno Mars
  • Katy Perry
  • Andrea Bocelli
  • KISS
  • EVERY SINGLE HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING BAND IN WASHINGTON D.C. (I'm not joking)

Consider the star power at Obama's inauguration (Beyonce, Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige) to now (so far only a "America's Got Talent" contestant, The Radio City Music Hall Rockettes and The Mormon Tabernacle Choir), this is shaping up to be one of the more "boring" inaugurations we've seen in awhile.

I'm actually looking forward to this show because when you consider again that he LOST the popular vote by over 3 Million votes and when you count in the over 7 million people who voted for "other" than Trump, you get a better understanding that people just really don't like you and THAT ALONE will make for interesting television. Should be an exciting 4 years ahead....
