The Carolina Panthers defeated the Redskins on Sunday, which should translate into a win for  Mitt Romney on election Day, if history is any indication.  WHY do I say that?  It's the remarkably accurate Redskins rule that forecasts the result of presidential elections. This is how the Redskins  Rule has been a gage of presidential elections in the past. If the Redskins win their last home game before the presidential election, then the incumbent party retains the White House,if the Redskins lose, then the incumbent party is voted out. The Redskins rule has been correct 17 of 18 times since 1940,the only exception has been 2004 when the Redskins lost the Packers and George W  Bush won reelection, so their is hope for President Barack Obama, but if you are a baseball fan then when a National league team wins the  World Series then  the incumbent party retains the White House,The San Francisco Giants of the National league won the Series over Detroit, so now we have a split and the bottom line  is maybe just maybe this all means nothing, but one thing is  for sure it promises to be a close election and every vote will count. Oh don't forget to vote tomorrow!
