Happy Birthday Sade!

Today, we pay homage to the eternally beautiful Helen Folasade Adu but she's globally

known as "Sade". At age 56, Sade hasn't aged a bit and her voice is just as beautiful as ever since her first hit "Smooth Operator" exploded unto the R&B and pop charts in the 80's.

In 1983, the Nigerian born signed a record deal with Epic Records and formed the band "Sade" which spawned her debut album "Diamond Life" which went on to sell over 3 million copies in the U.S. off the strength of this lead single "Smooth Operator".

Sade went on to release 6 studio albums and 1 live album which total have gone on to sell over 60 million albums worldwide. Very few singers have such a long lasting longevity and global reach like Sade. Here are a couple of her classic videos!
