Happy Birthday Fantasia!

The life and career of Fantasia has been an amazing one. From high school dropout to one of the biggest R&B stars in the world, she's lived a FULL life thus far and we wish her a very Happy 31st Birthday today (June 30th)! Let's look back at some highlights!

American Idol Audition
Who knew at the start of Season 3 of "Idol" in 2004 that this girl with the squeaky voice would become the future of R&B music? We sure didn't see it coming!

"I Believe"
After being named the winner of Idol, Fantasia would take her place as the next big thing by delivering this amazing and powerful performance of "I Believe" that went on to be the number 1 song in the country.

"Truth Is"
It was time to show and prove for Fantasia and she did just that with her first "post-Idol" single "Truth Is". Another hit for Fantasia that helped propel her debut album "Free Yourself" to double platinum status.

"The Fantasia Barrino Story: Life Is Not A Fairtytale"
Lifetime came calling in 2006 offering Fantasia a chance to tell her extraordinary life story in "Life Is Not A Fairytale". The movie stars Fantasia playing herself and details the struggles she endured including rape and sexual abuse.

"Bittersweet"
While her career and story continues, Fantasia won a Grammy in 2011 for "Bittersweet". She's currently on tour and wrapping up her 5th studio album at the time of this article.
