Greatest Prequel of All Time!

In today's world of entertainment there is always one constant...make more money.  This has never been more true than in film making.  Nearly half of all big blockbuster movies will be either remakes, or sequels.  The re-telling of a big blockbuster hit is the surest way to more success.  However, the sequel is one thing, but what do you do when you have ran out of material for the sequel, well you do a prequel.

The prequel is always a gamble and generally they do not do as well as the original. Nevertheless, there is one prequel that did it better than any prequel ever made....The Planet Of the Apes.  Nearly three years old it was one of the best prequels ever made.  It weaved together a story of the beginnings of an ape world, and told it so convincingly that you had to see the next one.  Dawn of The Planet of The Apes opens this weekend and with a little luck we could see another miracle.
