Want to give your kids a really cool history lesson? Then get ready to let them experience 'The 8th Annual Battle of Temple Junction Civil War Reenactment'.

This will be an exciting time for all. The school districts are involved and students will have a chance to experience in real life what life was like during the Civil War. There will be full scale battles that you can see up close and personal as well as food and items from that time period for sale.

Now, there was no real battle at Temple however, the city thought this would be a great way to teach how the soldiers from the North and South trained, lived and fought. This great event will take place May 20th through the 22nd. So you have plenty of time to put this in the family's calendar of events.
