You'll definitely want to share this information with a family member you love that's 55 years old or older.

The City of Killeen's senior centers will host a free Senior Health Fair on Thursday, September 27, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Killeen Community Center. Admission is free, and attendees do not have to be senior center members.

A variety of businesses and agencies that offer products and services for seniors will be participating with booths to provide information, giveaways and door prizes. The Killeen Community Center is located at 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Boulevard.

While you're there, you can learn more information about Killeen's two senior centers, Lions Club Park Senior Center (which is currently closed for repairs) located at 1700 E. Stan Schlueter Loop and the Bob Gilmore Senior Center located at 2205 E. Veterans Memorial Boulevard.

These centers provide activities and fellowship for senior citizens. Regular programs include meals, crafts, games and exercise classes. Additional programs include trips, dances and holiday celebrations. Senior center memberships are free for residents age 55 and older and their spouses. Facility tours and memberships are available at either location during business hours.
