Free Ice Cream at Dairy Queen March 16

One free cone for everybody today as Dairy Queen Celebrates 75 years on the 75th day of 2015!  Hurray!

I sure hope all our Dairy Queen's are taking part.  You know when they announce this stuff they say at participating stores only, just in case there is a rogue manager out there who doesn't want to play nice.

Let's all head to Dairy Queen, I thought they were only in Texas.  Boy was I wrong, the first one was in Illinois!  They are everywhere.

But Texas is special.  We have the most Dairy Queens of any state and we have our own Texas Country Foods menu.  According to the all knowing Wikipedia,  Only Texas Dairy Queens serve "Hungr-Buster" burgers, the "Dude" country-fried steak sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich, Country Baskets, T-Brand tacos, and the "BeltBuster."

I sure hope I don't hear somebody singing "DQ,  that's what I like about ILLINOIS!"
