Fort Hood Sergeant Charged With Indecency With a Child

A Fort Hood soldier was in the Bell County Jail Thursday night after allegedly exposing himself to a random teen.According to KWTX, the 16-year-old victim told police that 28-year-old Sgt. Jonathon Graham Sparks passed by her in his vehicle several times as she was walking along Prospector Trail in Harker Heights before pulling up beside her and matching her speed. Believing Sparks to be lost, she approached the open window of the passenger side of his car. When she leaned in to speak with him, he allegedly exposed his genitals and began fondling himself in front of her.

The victim was able to describe the vehicle and Sparks’ clothing, which helped police identify him. The victim then selected Sparks from a lineup. An investigation revealed that Sparks has been involved in several other incidents of the same nature with adult victims.

Sparks has been charged with indecency with a child by exposure and is being held on $75,000 bond.
