A former volunteer paramedic with the City of West is being held without bond after investigators found child pornography in his possession.

KTEM news partner KWTX reports that Bellmead police began investigating 36-year-old Thomas Nors after allegations that he was attempting to photograph young boys at department stores. Investigators reportedly found sexual images of minors on a computer and thumb drive belonging to Nors, and a federal arrest warrant was issued.

Nors is currently being held on federal detainer at the Jack Harwell Detention Center. He’s scheduled to appear in federal court Tuesday.
