Former Boxing Champ George Foreman speaks to students at UMHB

The University of Mary Hardin Baylor has had famous speakers in the past such as former president George W. Bush, and actor Chuck Norris, but they have never hosted a heavyweight boxing champion!

George Foreman, former Olympic gold medal winner and 2 time boxing heavyweight champion spoke at UMHB Wednesday for their annual McLane Lecture about a variety of topics, including his upbringing in Houston going to the job corps, and becoming world heavyweight champ at age 45 and (in my opinion) the name behind one of the best inventions ever, the George Foreman Grills!
