Cities of all sizes are banding together to help the victims of the West fertilizer plant explosion that killed 14, including 10 first-responders. The town of Florence, located about 90 miles south of West, and also has their own volunteer fire department, decided to chip and donate $7450 on Saturday.

"So proud of our little town. together we raised $7450.00," read a post on the Florence Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page.

All the money donated will be sent to West to help with the rebuilding process currently underway in West.
