Fast and Furious Star Paul Walker Dead at Age 40 After Single Car Crash

40-year-old actor Paul Walker, start of the 'Fast & Furious' film series, has died after his vehicle struck a tree in Southern California Saturday afternoon.

Walker and a passenger were killed after the actor's Porsche lost control and crashed into a tree according to TMZ. The car caught fire and exploded. The crash remains under investigation and it is unclear who was driving the vehicle. The actor had been taking people on test drives of the car in order to raise relief funds for victims of the recent typhoon in the Philippines.
