2015 Essence Festival Lineup Announced

The 2015 Essence Music Festival will feature Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu, Common and India.Arie on the main stage at the Mecedes-Benz Superdome. This is the 21st year of the festival, which will take place July 2-5.

Comedian Kevin Hart also will headline this year's festival.

Other performers include: Mystikal, Kool Moe Dee, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, Floetry, Kelly Price, Bilal, Elle Varrner, Raheem DeVaughn, Mali Music, Avery Sunshine, Kindred the Family Soul, Goapele, Robert Glasper, Tweet and many more to come.
