Singers Erykah Badu, Brandy and Alicia Keys will grace the stage at the BET Honors this year. The celebration of legends in black culture and entertainment takes place at the Warner Theater in Washington D.C., on Saturday night (Jan. 12).

There will also be a blast from the past with performances from Mint Condition, Jimmy Jam, the SOS Band and Terry Lewis. Singer Ledisi will also be taking part in the soulful evening of entertainment.

Ten-time Grammy winner Chaka Khan is one of the evening's honorees. The icon, who has influenced many of the creme of the crop in music today, will be celebrating 40 years in music and entertainment.

The 2013 BET Honors will air during Black History Month on Feb. 11.
