Eddie Murphy Returns As Axel Foley
Eddie Murphy has signed on to revive his role in the 80's action film Beverly Hills Cop along with his co-star from the film Judge Reinhold.Both stars will have cameos in the pilot for the new Beverly Hills Cop television show, which CBS will air as a pilot. Murphy will once again star as the wise-cracking detective Axel Foley and Reinhold will play the by the book role of detective William "Billy" Rosewood. The new Beverly Hills Cop will focus on Axel's son,Aaron Foley, played by Brandon T. Jackson,reportedly Murphy will appear as a father figure.The television version of the show will be an hour and it's currently in pre-production with no date set for when it will appear on television.
