DPS Releases Traffic Stop Video In Sandra Bland Case

The story of Sandra Bland, a young woman found dead in her jail cell after being arrested during a routine traffic stop in Waller County Texas, has raised more questions and concerns as more information is being released. The Waller County Sheriff's office, which ruled her death a suicide, has asked the FBI to investigate the case with some demanding that it be treated as a murder investigation.

On Wednesday, (July 22nd) The Texas Department of Public Safety released the video of the traffic stop in question that lead to Sandra Bland's arrest. Upon its initial release, questions were immediately raised with some saying that video has been tampered with and doesn't tell the whole story. DPS officials quickly removed the video from YouTube and other sources and uploaded a longer version of the traffic stop but it has done nothing to quell the growing outrage.
