A dog out for a morning walk is being credited with discovering an underground tunnel being dug by dangerous convicts attempting to escape prison.

The dog and its human were waking in a forest on the Greek island of Corfu when the dog suddenly stopped and refuse to move. The concerned human went to see why the dog wouldn't budge, heard suspicious sounds coming from beneath the ground, and called the police.

Investigators found a nearly 100-foot long tunnel leading back to the wing of a prison housing 21 convicts serving long or lifetime sentences. The tunnel contained battery-powered fans and containers of food.

All we have to say is good doggy!
