Do Black People Care About Kwanzaa ?

Wisconsin state senator  Glenn Grothman is on record saying "almost no black people" care about Kwanzaa. Now the first question one must ask themselves is what information  does state senator Grothman  a  republican have for him to make a statement like this.black people don't care about Kwanzaa,just white left -wingers who try to shove this down black people's throats in an effort to divide Americans Grothman said in an interview with the media group Patch. "Why must we still hear about Kwanzaa?" Grothman asked."Why are hard core left wingers still trying to talk about Kwanzaa- the supposed African-American holiday celebration between Christmas and New Year's ? Grothman slammed  public school districts in Wisconsin for trying to tell a new generation that black people have a separate holiday then Christians. His comments have been heavily criticized by Democratic party leaders in the state calling the remarks"absolutely jaw-dropping and they are asking  Grothman to retract his statements.Meg Moen,treasure of the county Democratic party says not only does  Senator Grothman  seem to find his inherit racism acceptable,he implores people to follow his lead and question a holiday that African-Americans have been celebrating for years.This isn't the first time Grothman has found himself in hot water over controversial remarks,in March 2012 he was heavily criticized for saying"unwanted or mistimed" pregnancies are the "choice of the women" who should learn "that this is a mistake".
