That's right folks, we're going back to Standard Time. Although we only hang out in "Standard" for 4 months of year, while we recognize "Daylight Savings Time" for 8 months. Shouldn't that be standard?

Did you know we first started this saving of daylight back it WWI to save energy. This way we didn't have to turn our lights on so early later in the day.

When I first started doing this radio job, I, like the majority of others, started in the overnight hours. So when Daylight Savings time ended, I'd have to work 7 hours instead of 6. But when we went back to Daylight Savings time, I only had to work 5. It was fine unless the time switch landed on my day off, then I'd screwed one way or the other.
