D'Angelo and his fans aren't having a great start to August. The 'Voodoo' singer is canceling his Saturday show (Aug, 10) at Humphreys Concerts by the Bay in San Diego because of a "medical emergency."

The singer's shows in Minneapolis on Tuesday (Aug. 6) and Chicago on Wednesday (Aug. 7) have also been cancelled. What exactly is this "medical emergency"? There's no statement from D'Angelo or his camp revealing details on that yet.

Tickets are being refunded to disappointed fans.

It's another setback for the crooner, during a year when his comeback album, 'James River,' is supposed to be released. This would be his first LP in 13 years.

Last week, he pulled the plug on his Aug. 1 show at Brooklyn's Williamsburg Park because of an apparent flu bug. Hopefully, he makes a full and speedy recovery.
