Copperas Cove Pit Bulls Seized After Attacking Child

Two pit bulls have been seized after reportedly attacking a 7-year-old boy in Copperas Cove Saturday.

According to KWTX-TV, the attack happened while the child was playing in the back yard of his home in the 100 block of Ridge Street. The dogs reportedly climbed over a fence to get to him.

The child suffered what police described as minor injuries to his right arm and back.

The owner of the dogs was cited the day of the attack, and the dogs were seized Monday.
