Copperas Cove Man Charged With Sexual Abuse Of Two Children

Jason Wade Pruitt of Copperas Cove has been charged after allegedly sexually abusing two young girls.

Pruitt was arraigned Wednesday on a charge of continuous sexual abuse of a young child. On Thursday, additional warrants were issues against him for aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child.

The first victim, 11, told investigators that Pruitt touched her inappropriately on several occasions and as recently as July 26. A second victim has also come forward and tells police that Pruitt showed her adult films and touched her inappropriately. That second victim, who was 11 at the time of the most recent alleged abuse, said Pruitt had been touching her since she was in the second or third grade while she was in his care after school.

Pruitt is being held on $100,000 bond.
