Copperas Cove Deputy Fire Chief Addresses Zika Virus Concerns
In a press release from Copperas Cove Deputy Fire Chief Gary D. Young, The City of Copperas Cove Division of Emergency Management staff are not aware of any cases of diseases being spread within the Cove community from the bite of mosquitos. Young went on to say:
City staff continually monitors not only our local community but also the regional, state and federal information streams for issues that could affect our community in order to be ready to act accordingly to protect the safety of our citizens.
