The news of Ciara calling off her engagement with Future has the Internet buzzing.

Us Weekly broke the story of the R&B singer ending her engagement with the Atlanta rapper over alleged infidelity.

But apparently, CiCi is not happy with how Us Weekly is reporting the story. In a series of tweets, she lashed out at the entertainment news website for being "thirsty" and manipulating her words for a sensational article.

The feature in question is a profile piece by Us Weekly about Ciara enjoying motherhood. The 28-year-old entertainer gave birth to newborn son Future Zahir Wilburn back in May. However, the story also features the report that CiCi ended her engagement with Future. In addition, there's no mention of her work as a spokesperson for Degree deodorant and her "Do More" campaign. Apparently, Ciara is upset about that and went to Twitter to vent about the interview.

We must also point out that Ciara has neither confirmed nor denied that she and Future are no longer a couple.

In any case, Ciara is moving forward with her life and is looking forward to making music again. The 'Body Party' songstress says that motherhood has pushed her even harder to accomplish her goals.

"I want to be one of those moms and women that when I look back, I know that I always stayed focused," she told Us Weekly. "It's about keeping your eyes on the prize. Before I had a child, I had goals. And I still have to accomplish those goals, but now that I have a child, I have more goals to accomplish. So I can't waste time. I have to go for it."

Ciara seems focused. Recently, she posted a photo of herself in a lovely mini-dress while on her promotional grind in New York for Degree's "Do More" campaign. "Nuyorican Mami Attitude. Yo Taxi!!:) #NYC," she wrote.
