Christmas Traditions

Have you noticed that people are not as traditional about the holidays as they used to be?  Some families get together, put their tree up and decorate the day after Thanksgiving, some people create special memories by doing special things with their children during the holidays.  For example, when my family is home, we're cooking, playing and singing sounds of the season, everybody has their own special ornament to hang, and it's great family time.  Could it be that we're all just too busy, or is it not that important anymore to spend some time with family making memories at this time of year?  Please share your holiday traditions.  It may inspire others to resume, or create some of their own.
