Central Texas College Announces New Campus President
Ralph Ford has been hired as the new campus president for Central Texas College, responsible for managing operations in Texas and online.
Ford will work under Chancellor Thomas Klincar and will oversee central and service area operations as well as online distance learning and the college's online high school.
In the past, Ford has worked at colleges in New York, Alabama, Texas, and Michigan. Most recently, he was vice president at Union Community College in New Jersey.
Ford is replacing John Hunt, who left in order to teach full time.
CTC also announced new job titles for several current executive officers.
Former deputy chancellor of international and Navy campus operations Jim Yeonopolus was named president of continental and intercontinental operations, overseeing CTC's Europe, Pacific Far East, Navy and Continental, and Fort Hood campuses.
Former deputy chancellor of resource management Al Erdman was named deputy chancellor of finance and administration, responsible for information technology services, human resources, risk management, facilities management, business services, and contracts. Erdman is also comptroller for the campus.
Former deputy chancellor of educational programs and support services Dana Watson was named deputy chancellor of academic and student services, responsible for overseeing the library services, institutional effectiveness program, instructional program support services, student services, and student success and persistence for the college.
