Central Texans Come Together This Weekend to Support Family of Taliq Davis

This weekend is all about Central Texans coming together to support the family of an area child whose life was cut short by cancer.Taliq Davis of Killeen passed away last Monday after a long battle with brain cancer. Taliq received national attention last year when he received a flood of birthday cards last year and became friends with Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.

To honor Taliq's courage and help with the costs of laying him to rest, Pizza Hut locations between Copperas Cove and Waco will donate 20% of the proceeds to his family from Friday, September 30, to Sunday, October 2. All you have to do is mention the Taliq Davis Fundraiser.

On Saturday, Belton's Quick Expo Stop will host a fund raiser in Taliq's honor, featuring a car show, auction, garage sale, bounce house, and much more.
