Celebrate Juneteenth In Temple This Weekend!

Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. This weekend, we celebrate this historic day at the 21st Annual Juneteenth Festival kicking off Friday Night with a Fish Fry Kick-Off then going all day Saturday June 18th at Ferguson Park / 24th St. Park at 1203 E. Adams Ave. in Temple.

Bring the whole family out on Friday night where several car clubs/bike clubs will bring out their best cars and bikes, and also have fish dinners for sale, Different games for the entire family to enjoy and a live DJ.

8 Live Bands from across the nation & all genres, including hip hop plus a "Battle of The DJs, Kids Corner, which will consist of Game Trucks, 5 Inflatables, FREE hot dogs and nachos along with several games, dunk booth etc... Also at Noon Free food and drinks, and a host of different food trucks and non food vendors. Host of different raffles giving away 40' inch Flat Screen TV, BBQ PIT(value $200.00+), $100 Visa Gift Card along with other Items.
