Candice Glover Performs John Legend’s ‘Ordinary People’ on ‘American Idol’

Candice Glover performed last on 'American Idol' Tuesday night (March 5) but gave a lasting performance with her incredible rendition of John Legend’s 'Ordinary People.

The singer took on Legend's hit, creating a slower, jazzier version.

Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson both gave Candice a standing ovation after her performance. Mariah thanked her for “sharing your gift with us” while Nicki Minaj was left speechless sucking on a lollipop.

Overall, Candince definitely made ‘Ordinary People’ her own and hopefully sealed the deal to stay the next round.
