Bruno Mars Will Not Play Prince In Netflix Movie

Over the weekend, I saw social media was on fire and a lot of folks were upset over a report that Bruno Mars would play the late icon Prince in a Netflix biopic. While I personally wasn't opposed to the idea, a lot of folks were.

Well according to Billboard, a rep for the star says that the Daily Mirror Report that got everyone fired up is "100 percent false". The rep went onto say that not only is Mars not slated to act in a film but that Netflix has no Prince biopic in production or development in the first place.

Calls for Mars to play Prince in a potential biopic began last year at the 2017 Grammy Awards when he performed "Let's Go Crazy" in a memorable tribute performance to the singer.
