Platinum selling artists Brandy, Tyrese, Anthony Hamilton and Kem took the stage on Friday night (May 12) for the second annual SJ Presents: Mother's Day Good Music Festival. The concert took place at Barclay's Center and also included a performance by rising R&B sensation Major.

Brandy made sure the crowd was standing on their feet when she performed her uptempo hit songs, "Top of the World" and "Full Moon." She also took the audience on a trip down memory lane, performing her 90s hits, "I Wanna Be Down" and "Baby." Before she left the stage, she slowed it down and showed off her vocal skills with, "Almost Doesn't Count," and closed with "Wildest Dreams."

Kem delivered his signature jazz-laced R&B sounds. Backed by his band wearing black and white tuxedos he performed "Love Calls," and took fans back to 2010 when he performed "Share My Life." He sat behind a black piano and played as he belted out the lyrics to "Why Would You Stay." Before he left the stage, he informed the audience that he was giving $5,000 to the YMCA in Brooklyn and $5,000 to Women In Need, an organization that supports homeless women and their children.

Anthony Hamilton hit the stage with The Hamiltones and gave a high energy performance. He had the crowd rocking when he performed his classic hits "Comin' From Where I'm From," and "I'm Cool." The crowd began two-stepping when he performed "Best of Me," and The Hamitones took center stage to groove with him in perfect formation. Hamilton slowed it down for the lovers in the building and performed, "The Point of it All." He didn't leave the stage without singing the crowd favorite, "Charlene," which he mixed with a rendition of Bobby Womack's classic, "If You Think You're Lonely Now."

At exactly 11:45 p.m. Tyrese hit the stage wearing all black to close the show. He opened singing the verse from his feature on Da Brat's 'What'Chu Like.'' Before the crowd had time to settle down he asked the audience if there were any "chocolate lovers in the house" and went into his rendition of Jodeci's "Freek 'N You." He performed his 90s hit, "Sweet Lady" and had the crowd swaying back and forth when he performed "Signs of Love Making," and "How You Gonna Act Like That." Tyrese closed out his set strong with his 2015 hit, "Shame." He went into the audience to give fans a high energy and emotionally charged send off.
