Bobby Brown’s sister, Tina Brown, regrets taking the infamous photo that is now the cover art for Pusha T’s latest album, DAYTONA.

The controversial artwork (see above) is a 2006 photo of Whitney Houston’s filthy bathroom that littered with alcohol, cigarettes and a pipe. The picture first appeared in the National Enquirer. Kanye West reportedly paid $85,000 to license the photo for Push’s album.

Tina Brown is the person who took the infamous photo. She told The Blast that West didn’t pay her or her son, Shayne Brown, to license the picture. However, she now regrets taking the photo.

Apparently, Brown sold the photo to the National Enquirer who owns the rights to the image. She took the picture during a drug binge with the late pop icon.

“During the time the picture was taken, in 2006, my sister Whitney and I were at a very low and self-destructive point in our lives, it was not only her mess, it was mine as well," she told The Blast. "Together, she and I decided to take the pictures in the bathroom and share with the world, the pain we were going through...it was a united cry for help."

The Houston Family seem split on the image being used for Pusha T's album cover.

Grammy-winning producer Damon Elliott, Whitney’s first cousin and Dionne Warwick's son, said the family is disgusted by the LP artwork. But Whitney’s nephew Gary Michael Houston says he doesn't have a problem with it.

"I get the correlation (sans my aunt but the photo itself), and I actually love the album," he said.

However, Gary added that people are missing the "bigger picture," which is the person who betrayed Whitney by taking the photo and then selling it to the tabloids.

But Brown insists that she didn't betray Whitney by selling the photo to the Enquirer and claims that "throughout that chaotic time and until her death, Whitney and I remained the best of friends and sisters.”

Meanwhile, Bobby Brown wants to slap Kanye for buying the image for Pusha T's album.
