According to Dog Time CIRD is a new canine infection, and respiratory disease, and it has veterinarian scratching their head as it doesn’t have a clear answer on how or why it has appeared.

This particular disease is becoming more familiar in the UK, and it also has one out of every hundred veterinary visits emphasizing its significant impact on canine health. The disease can be passed quickly, just by being around other dogs. If you are a dog owner, who takes your animal to the dog parks your dog could be at risk.

If you happen to see your dog, sneezing or loss of appetite, you notice an abnormal eye, discharge, and a wet cough this could be CIRD. This disease can cause death to your furbaby, and reports have been made that dogs as old as nine months through 11 years old have been victims of this very serious virus. If you notice that your puppy or dog having symptoms, you are told to immediately book a consultation with your vet. Let’s keep our fur baby safe and watch for symptoms and signs.
