Belton Kicks Off Celebration

The annual Independence Day celebration has already started in Belton.

The city's 89th Annual Independence Day Rodeo and Parade began on Tuesday with a barbecue picnic lunch at Yeti Polk Park.

In the past, Belton had been ranked by USA Today as one of the top ten places to "fly your flag" on July 4th.

Celebrations will continue in Belton with a variety of events, including a parade on Thursday morning.
