Two men are behind bars and a minor may faces charges after police found they were in possession of stolen property from several area car burglaries during an early morning traffic stop.

Belton police stopped 19-year-old Bralon Amad Buhl in the Quail Meadows neighborhood around 4:30 AM Friday after seeing him driving without headlights. 17-year-old Cardarius Devonta Lymon and a juvenile were riding in the car as well.

A search of the vehicle revealed property stolen from several recent car burglaries in the Belton area. Two stolen guns were also discovered.

Buhl and Lymon were arrested and charged with burglary of a motor vehicle The juvenile passenger was released to their parents pending charges from a juvenile court.

Belton police want citizens to remember to always lock their car doors and to either remove valuables from the vehicle or place them out of sight. The majority of car burglaries occur in vehicles that are not locked, they say.
