First Lady is an International and pioneer DJ, radio/ television personality and a Billboard award winning radio Music and Program Director. As one of the original house music female dj's, who started mixing in the fall of 1980, First Lady has helped lay the foundation for ladies that control the House Music and EDM dance floors today. In 1983 she was one of four ladies that made up America’s very FIRST All-Female DJ Mix Team called “The Fantastic Four”, as well as, the FIRST Female DJ on Chicago radio, WGCI-FM 107.5 in 1986. In 1985 First Lady became one of the first female vocalists to record a house music song on the DJ International Record Label, (MKll Used By A DJ), (Mario Diaz Let’s Do It) and has also recorded for AKA Records. First Lady continues to pack dance floors around the globe and is showing no signs of slowing down. With over 35 years of experience in the music and broadcast communications industry First Lady has worked with some of the biggest names in the business, (RADIO) Tom Joyner, Doug Banks, Elroy Smith, Derrick Brown, Ed Lover and Doctor DRE, DJ Scribble, The Original Spinderella, GrandMaster Flash, Fatman Scoop, Steve Harvey, Rick Party, Irene Mojica, Wendy Williams, Isaac Hayes, Ashford & Simpson, Pink House and Ramonski Love just to name a few. On the MUSIC side, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Steve Silk Hurley, Hugo H and the list goes on. She's also worked in the top radio markets New York (WBLS-FM, KISS-FM and HOT97 FM), Chicago (106 Jams and WGCI-FM) claiming #1 shows in both cities, as well as large markets Milwaukee (V100 FM) and Indianapolis (WTLC AM/FM). Currently First Lady can be heard on KISS 103.1 FM Sundays Noon -2PM. First Lady is also the recipient of the 2006 Billboard Hip Hop and R&B Award for APD/Music Director of the Year and ranked #17 on the list of "The Top 30 Black Women in Media" by Radio Facts.
