Alicia Keys Finds Freedom in ‘Brand New Me’ Video

Alicia Keys has unveiled the music video for her second 'Girl on Fire' single, 'Brand New Me,' in which she sets her true self free.

The video shows the superstar brushing off her ex before she sits down at the piano to begin the transformational song. She gets up and eventually faces herself in the mirror, taking off her wig and shedding tears at the realization of who she really is -- a strong, independent woman.

According to Keys, the tune has a special place in her heart. "The song #BrandNewMe is my ANTHEM," she wrote in a Twitter interview with BET's 106 & Park. "It's about my personal journey to be a brave woman, artist & MAMA ;- )."
