We all know that kids sometimes aren't aware of the consequences of their actions, but in times like these it's important to let our kids know that playing around with threats will be taken seriously and could lead to them messing up their future.

According to our news partner KWTX News 10, a 15-year-old 9th grader at Killeen High School was arrested and taken to juvenile detention for scrawling threats against classmates on a restroom door.

The teen will face a felony terroristic threat charge according to KISD Superintendent John Craft who went on to say the following:

“Any student who makes a threat against the school will be charged with a felony and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Our students must understand we are serious about this." - KISD Superintendent John Craft via KWTX

Parents, make sure you talk to your kids about this so they know that its not a game.
