Texas has a new "tiny" hero.

A five-year-old girl most likely saved her mother's life on Friday. Portland, TX mother Tracy Anderwald and daughter Allison were spending their last day of Spring Break by the pool - Allison's favorite activity - but then something went terribly wrong.

As seen on the house surveillance footage, Tracy succumbed to a seizure and went unconscious in the pool. She floated face down for nearly five minutes before Allison dove in, dragged her mother to the shallow end, and kept her head above water. She then ran inside, asking her sisters and aunt for help.

Tracy and doctors don't know why she fell into a seizure, but for now, her mother called her daughter her tiny hero.

Allison learned how to swim at the age of two. This girl deserves praise for knowing what to do and acting in a potentially fatal situation.
