The Presidential Inauguration is set for January 21st, and Beyonce will be back once again to serenade the event, along with Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor!  Beyonce will sing the National Anthem, Kelly will sing My Country 'Tis of Thee, and James will sing America the Beautiful.  All three were "hand picked" by the President.  How honorable is that?  He invited me, but my schedule was a little full.  (JK). Anyway, The Associated Press reports that "Richard Blanco, the son of Cuban exiles, is the 2013 inaugural poet".  At the age of 44, "will be the youngest-ever and the first Hispanic or gay to recite a poem at the ceremonial swearing in".  The invocation will be delivered by Myrlie Evers-Williams, widow of slain civil rights activist Medgar Evers.  At the last inauguration, the big thing to talk about was Aretha Franklin's hat, and a mix up on the wording of the oath.  I wonder what it will be this time.
