Around this time last year, I did my Top 5 Favorite Christmas Songs and a few folks agreed with me, some had their own opinions, which is all good, but I remember that I was feeling rather down about the holidays then. Its usually around this point (less than 10 days) that the commercialism and crowds start to wear us all down and we get a case of the "bah hum-bugs". We tend to forget that this time of the year is meant for peace, happiness, and most importantly, laughter. So, I've scoured the internet to find some hilarious songs to help you get through it and remember that sometimes a funny song can lift your spirits. (DISCLAIMER: "GRANDMA GOT RUN OVER BY A REINDEER" DID NOT MAKE THIS LIST!)

    "Xmas Blues" - Big Tyme

Released in 1996 as a skit on a Christmas compilation from The Quad City DJ's (Remember "C'mon N' Ride It (The Train)"?), "Xmas Blues" became known throughout the south as "Bonquisha & Otis" and a hilarious holiday hit.

"Santa Claus Is A Black Man" - Akim & Teddy Vann

Songwriter and producer Teddy Vann wrote and produced this classic for his daughter Akim who also sings the lead vocals. With its FUNKY bass, and 70's catchphrases and slang ("Right On", "I Can Dig It") it continues to put a smile on my face whenever I hear it!

"Christmas In Hollis" - Run DMC

If you still don't get it, let Run DMC kick that old school goodness and tell you what Christmas is all about!
